Faith Independent Baptist Church (FIBC) is led by the Church Administrative Committee (CAC), which consists of the pastor(s), the Deacons, missionaries and evangelist of the church.

Our Statement of Faith

Concerning the Bible

We believe that the complete Bible, sixty six books together is without error in its original writing.

John 17: 17 | Revelation 22: 18,19

The Bible is verbally and plenarily inspired of God being written by Holy Spirit guided men and is therefore the sole authority for faith and practices.

Concerning the True Living God

There is one, and only one living and true God.

Deuteronomy 6: 4,5 | Jeremiah 10: 10

God is an infinite, eternal, self-existing, perfect Spirit.

We believe in the unity of the Godhead, there are three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit in essence and in every divine perfection.

Concerning the Lord Jesus Christ

The Lord Jesus Christ, the second person of the Triune God existed eternally with the Father and at the time of His incarnation without change in His deity, became a man through the miracle of divine conception and virgin birth.

The Lord Jesus Christ lived a sinless, impeccable life, died a substitutionary death for all men, was buried and arose from the grave physically the third day.

The Lord Jesus Christ ascended into Heaven bodily, is presently fulfilling His intercessory and mediatorial ministry, will return to rapture the church, prior to the tribulation.

Concerning the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is the Third Person of the Godhead and is the divine agent in creation, revelation and redemption.

The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, of righteousness and judgement.

John 16: 8-11

The Holy Spirit indwells all believers, empower them for service, teaching and illuminating their understanding of the Holy Scriptures.

Concerning the Way of Salvation

The gift of salvation is made free to all by the Gospel.

It is accepted by faith when a penitent sinner repent of his sin.

All who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ are justified, having perfect righteousness of Christ imputed to them, born again, growing in grace and persevering to the end.

Concerning the Second Coming of Christ

The blessed hope of the believer is the imminent, personal tribulational, pre-millennial appearance of Christ to rapture the Church. The Lord Jesus Christ will return bodily to earth in power and glory.

Concerning Heresy and Apostasy

We believe the Holy Scripture teaches us that we are to totally and completely separate ourselves from all forms of heresy and apostasy. We are to: Try them, Mark them, Rebuke them, Have no fellowship, Withdraw ourselves, Receive them not, Have no company with them, Reject them, Separate ourselves.
